Arthur Giulietti worked in Insurance, Financial Services and Risk Management for over 40 years. He prides himself in bringing the highest degree of service to his clients by drawing on his extensive background.

Art uses a client centered approach to solve customers problems whether they are Individuals, Small Businesses, Corporations, Non-Profit or Governmental Entities. Understanding and learning the needs of client’s up front allows for a more tailored approach. He does more than just selling policies, by using Risk Management tools such as Risk Identification, Risk Reduction, Risk Transfer, and Review of the results leads to a better solution for the client.

Giulietti began his career as a Claims Representative for the Crawford and Company, The Hartford and CNA Insurance Company. He owned and operated his own Insurance Agency and Risk Management firm for 17 years – National Risk and Insurance Consultants, Inc. Art operated an Allstate Insurance Office and was a Financial Advisor with American Express and the former New Haven Savings Bank. He also taught Insurance, Risk Management, Business and Economics courses at both the University of Connecticut and Gateway Community College.

For 22 years he was the Risk Manager for the Town of Hamden. Managed a $2,000,000 Casualty Insurance Program, $3,000,000 Workers Compensation Program, and a $40,000,000 Health Benefit Program. With over 2,000 employees, 275 vehicles, $600 Million in Property values and over 4,000 employees, retirees and dependents on the Benefit plan, provide exposure to risks that few even realize exist. Those risks include Contractual, Cyber, Benefit Plan Administration, Environmental, OSHA Compliance, Professional Liability, Playground, Errors and Omissions, Foreign Travel, Kidnap and Ransom, and to name a few, in addition to the usual Automobile, General Liability, Property and Workers’ Compensation exposures. He also managed Workers’ Compensation for a large Connecticut Hospital.

Professionally, Giulietti is a Licensed Producer and Claims Adjuster. He holds the following Professional Designations: CPCU – Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, ARM – Associate in Risk Management, ARM-P – Associate in Risk Management Public Sector, CPSI – Certified Playground Safety Inspector.

He lives in Hamden with his wife Patricia. Art is the Past Hamden Democratic Town Chairman, Grand Knight of K of C Council 10477, past President and current board member of the CT Chapter of the Public Risk Insurance Society (PRIMA), past Vice President of the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS), President of the Housatonic Fly Fishermen’s Association (HFFA), member of the Connecticut DEEP Fisheries Advisory Council, Past Chairman Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Committee. In his free time, he enjoys Fishing, Photography, Hiking, Snow Shoeing, and Cross-Country Skiing, Travel and other outdoor activities.

Giulietti holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Southern Connecticut State University and a MBA from the University of New Haven.
